Exchanges to Internships Program
Exchanges to Internships is a Program for UGRAD and FLEX alumni administered by American Councils in Ukraine. It aims to provide alumni with the opportunity to receive professional development through targeted training and capacity building, as well as encourage alumni to explore careers in public service in Ukraine.
Program Goals
The primary goals of the Exchanges to Internships program are:
- to encourage talented and enthusiastic alumni to explore careers in public service;
- to provide alumni a unique opportunity for professional development and networking;
- to expose alumni to pressing issues within Ukraine;
- to infuse the public sector of Ukraine with the enthusiasm, energy and skills of U.S.-educated program alumni.
Internship duration: September – December 2020
Eligibility:
3, 4, 5, 6 years of university, students who graduated in 2020

- Essay – “Explain your rationale for applying to the Exchanges to Internships Program. Include specific objectives and expected benefits.”
TO APPLY:
Fill out the EtoI Microsoft Form Application. Submit an essay (saved as Last name, First Name – Essay) and a current resume (saved as Last name, First Name – Resume) to Liudmyla Pustovit by the closing date listed below, via e-mail: lpustovit@americancouncils.org with the subject line “Last name, First name – EtoI Application. Both of the documents should be in PDF format.
American Councils will acknowledge receipt of your application by an e-mail message. Applications
missing one of the 3 elements (essay, CV, and submitted application form) will not be considered.
If shortlisted, you will be invited for an interview on a rolling basis.
