Starting on August 13th, 2025 FLEX Program application for 2026-2027 school year is open. Applicants who fulfill eligibility requirements can participate in the recruitment process from any location that has Internet access, using either a mobile device or a computer. Deadline for applying is September 16th 2025.
FLEX Program will be conducting testing in 3 rounds from August to December.
Round 1: This round includes a preliminary online application and 3 essay questions that must be submitted within 5 days of starting the application.
Round 2: Students will be invited to take part in an online English test.
Round 3: This semi-finalist round will include an interview, 3 more essay questions, the full application, and a comprehensive English test. Students who pass to this stage will be invited to participate by the American Councils office in their country.
Post-Recruiting:
After applications are received from all candidates, the documents are sent to Washington, DC for the selection committee to review. The results of the competition are expected in spring of 2026.
Once results are released, finalists and alternates prepare the necessary documents for their U.S. visa and school registration. All finalists are required to attend a Pre-Departure Orientation before going to the USA.
Finalists selected in the spring of 2026 depart for the United States in August 2026 and return to Ukraine in May and June 2027.
